NTA Channel 12 GM seeks cooperation among Ogun journalists

NIGERIA: THE recently appointed General Manager of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA Channel 12), Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Mrs. Funmi Wakama, has enjoined journalists in the state to work together.

Wakama, who on Monday received members of the Press Crew of the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, also pleaded with them to support one another in the discharge of their duties for effective service delivery.

The GM, a one-time Senior Special Assistant on Media to Governor Amosun, further charged members of the Press Crew to continue to disseminate the policies and activities of the government with truth and integrity.

While showering encomium on members of the team, Wakama said that they have been loyal, wonderful and dedicated to their jobs.

She, however, solicited the support of the entire journalists in the state for effective running of the television station.

Earlier, the Leader of the Press Crew, Mr. Femi Osipitan, who appreciated the leadership role played by Wakama during her tenure in Amosun’s cabinet, said that the team paid the courtesy call to identify with her over the new challenge of leading the television station.

Osipitan stated that Wakama’s appointment could not have been achieved if not for her loyalty and professional capabilities.

He prayed that the station under her watch would experience greater achievements.
