Father turns 13-year-old daughter to sex machine in Ogun

NIGERIA: A FATHER, who turned his daughter to sex machine, has been arrested in Ogun State.
The state Police Command said that 41-year-old Sikiru Odejide, who lives in Onihale in Ifo Local Government area of the state, has been detained for allegedly defiling his 13-year-old daughter.
The Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, told
GatewayMail on Sunday that Odejide was arrested following a complaint lodged by the mother of the victim, who had separated from the suspect.
Oyeyemi explained that the mother reported at Sango Police Station that her daughter informed her that the suspect had been having sexual intercourse with her since December 2016.
She stated that her daughter further said that her father threatened to kill her if she should disclose their sexual escapades to anybody.
“She further complained to her mother that she could no longer bear the frequent sexual assault from her father hence she decided to inform her mother,” Oyeyemi said.
The police spokesman said that on the strength of the report, the Divisional Police Officer of Sango Police Station, Akinsola Ogunwale, detailed detectives to effect the arrest of the randy father.
“The suspect, on interrogation owned up to the commission of the crime but attributed it to the devil handwork,” Oyeyemi said.
According to him, the Police Commissioner, Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered that the suspect be transferred to Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and possible prosecution of the suspect.
