Lagos police boss parleys Gani Adams on security

NIGERIA: APPARENTLY in order to seek his cooperation, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Mr. Fatai
Owoseni, has met with the National Coordinator of Odua People’s Congress (OPC), Otunba Gani Adams.
GatewayMail gathered that the meeting discussed the modalities on how to tackle the menace of cult crisis majorly attributed to a group known as “Badoo boys.”
The meeting, which lasted for some hours and held at the police headquarters, Ikeja, was chaired by Owoseni, with other top police officers in attendance.
The parley, GatewayMail further learnt, was attended by community leaders and other vigilante groups in the area, while a leader in OPC, Rask Arogundade, and Kamorudeen Bombata, also took part in the deliberation to work with the police to curb the excesses of ritual activities in the area.
It was also gathered that the meeting focused much on the recent Badoo crisis in Ikorodu area of Lagos.
The meeting also emphasised and critically looked into ritual killings and discussed the modalities to checkmate the crimes and criminals in the area.
