NIGERIA: THE Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has warned job seeks against falling into the hands of suspected fraudsters.
The Commander of the Corps, Mr. Seni Ogunyemi, cautioned last Friday in a statement made available to GatewayMail that the agency was not recruiting applicants for jobs as being spread by some unknown persons.
He urged the public to be vigilant and be wary of the plot by these unidentified racketeers to dupe them.
“This is to inform members of the public that the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE is neither RECRUITING nor ENLISTING into the Agency,” Ogunyemi said.
The TRACE boss explained that it had been uncovered that some people under the guise of helping job seekers to leave unemployment market have been making moves to extort money from them.
“Members of the public are hereby enjoined to be vigilant and wary of unscrupulous people who are flying the recruitment kite around in order to deceive, extort and swindle unsuspecting members of the public of their hard earned money, all in the guise of helping them to facilitate their Enlistment/Recruitment into TRACE Corps,” Ogunyemi stressed.
He further stated that with the alert, anyone who falls into the fraudsters’ trap should not run to TRACE as the agency would not be liable for such swindle.
“If and when there would be any recruitment exercise in TRACE Corps, members of the public would be duly informed and carried along,” the TRACE boss emphasized.
