Ogun appoints FIBAN member LG scribe

NIGERIA: OGUN State government has sworn-in a frontline member of the state chapter of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Mr. Adewale Dada, popularly known as “The Good,” as the Secretary to Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.
The event, which was held at the local government secretariat in Ota, was attended by many eminent personalities who came to felicitate with the ace broadcaster.
A highly elated State Chairman of FIBAN, Comrade Akinyemi Olatoye, said that “the appointment of Adewale Dada is a reward of loyalty that is worth emulating.”
Olatoye, often known as Alawiye Federation, further said: “I want to congratulate him on behalf of all the members of FIBAN, and wish him best of luck while praying that more great things will continue to manifest in his life.”
The FIBAN chairman stated that though FIBAN is apolitical, but stressed that “individual interest should be maturely and professionally tolerated in whatever association or group we belong.”
Olatoye urged other members of the association to learn from the loyalty, commitment and undying spirit of Dada, “because no matter how hard a storm might be blowing, sooner or later the coast will surely be clear and settle again.”
