The auto crash came barely few days after three passengers also died while 13 others were injured last Friday noon at the same spot.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliant and Enlightenment Corps (TRACE), Mr. Babatunde Akinbiyi told GatewayMail that the accident occurred at the Nairaland Oil and Gas axis at Odogbolu junction.

Akinbiyi explained that the Ijebu-Ode bound Volvo car with registration number SMK 275CG ‎was in a speed tussle with a Toyota Sienna car with registration number KRD 80 CL, which led to the crash.

He stated that the corpses of the two persons who died on the spot had been taken to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, while the injured persons were rushed to Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ilishan for treatment.
