Others include Innocent Ugwuanyi of Science Laboratory Technology (Deputy Finance Minister), Emmanuel Ogbonna of Science Laboratory Technology‎ (Sports Minister), Caleb Ugwu of Public Administration (Establishment Minister), Emma Okwuagwu of Public Administration (Minister for Welfare), Francis Chukwu of Mechanical Engineering (Minister for Social) and Christian Ogbu of Mass Communication (Minister for Information).
Speaking after the election, the Head of Department (HOD) Students Affairs, Mr. Uche Onyeke, said that the election, which started from accreditation of‎ voters from each department, was successful.
“This successful election started from accreditation of students, from all departments in the institution,” Onyeke said.
He reminded them that SUG office is like other political offices not where the winner enjoys alone, adding that the‎ struggle in the school politics is the struggle that all hands must be on‎ desk.
“The students unionism is like other political offices where the winner cannot take it all because the struggle in the students union politics is the‎ struggle that all hands must be on desk, so the winner must carry along‎ their opponents,” Onyeke said
Onyeke advised the winners to see the posts as holding the office in trust for their opponents and for the entire students population.

The HOD also urged those‎ that lost the election to see it as those who would have ordinarily be there but just for the fact that the office is meant for one‎ person at a time.
He urged them to work together to offer those ideas which they would have offered if they were elected into the various offices contested for the‎ betterment of the students and school.
‎Onyeke urged the winners to work accordingly with the school authority to make sure that their administration becomes the best.
