NIGERIA: OGUN State Police Command has detained a 65-year-old man for alleged rape.

*Alosuposo Louis…Alleged rapist.

The police said that Alosuposo Louis, who was arrested following a complaint from the mother of one of the victims who lodged the complaint at Ayetoro Division, had sex with 10-year-old and eight-year-old girls.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police Abimbola Oyeyemi, explained that the mother, who claimed to have noticed strange behavior from her daughter, interrogated her and discovered that the suspect had had carnal knowledge of her daughter.

“Upon complaint, the DPO Ayetoro Division, CSP Makinde Kayode led team of Policemen to effect the arrest of the suspect,” Oyeyemi said in a news release made available to GatewayMail, adding: “Further investigation later revealed that the suspect has done it to another minor aged 8yrs.”

He further said: “Th e two victims were lured into his apartment where he carried out the dastardly act.  He has confessed to the commission of the crime, and the two victims have been taken to General Hospital, Ayetoro for medical treatment.”

Meanwhile, three teenage students of Ajagbe High School have been arrested for alleged rape of their fellow female student.

“Their arrest follows a report by the father of the victim, one Mr. Salau of 16 Ogunfowora Street, Iperu-Remo who complained that her daughter was forcefully dragged into the bush by the suspects where they forcefully had her carnal knowledge,” the police image maker said.

He further said: “The DPO Iperu Division, CSP Bernard Ediagbonya led his men to that forest where the suspects were arrested.  The suspects are Uloko Austin, Adekunle Quadri, Orenuga Aliu.  Investigation revealed that they belong to a secret cult known as Ajagbe youngest nation.”

Oyeyemi added: “The Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered the immediate transfer of the two cases to Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.”
