Hip-hop twin brothers hit airwaves with Valentine Day singles

NIGERIA: APPARENTLY to make this year’s Valentine Day special, hip-hop music twin brothers, Taiwo and Kehinde Falobi, have released two singles for the delight of their fans across the globe.
The new records, according to the musicians, would surely meet the desire of their teeming fans as back up to their earlier music hits, ‘Shout Out’ and ‘Gbesoke’ which 9ice featured and had gone viral on radio stations and online.
The twins, popularly called FTK, who are the children of Engineer Dideolu Falobi of Kresta Laurel, explained that the two new singles, ‘Ereke’ and ‘Ise Oluwa’ were specially produced to coincide with Valentine Day celebrations.
According to them, with the package done, the new albums would not only shake Nigeria, but the entire musical world.
Meanwhile, the twin-artistes, who are of Ijesa extraction, would be honoured on February 24, 2017 in Lagos with an award by The Voice Magazine on February.
The honour, according to GatewayMail findings, was in recognition of their hit song, Shoutout, which is an advocacy song against violence, bad governance, unemployment and other issues that have been making Nigeria to lag behind in its giant strides of development.
The FTK, as a musical band, that recorded their first single in 2014, stated that their passion for music has been the drive for their wizardry in music.
The 23-year-old talented artistes are undergraduates of Babcock University, Nigeria where they are currently studying Mass Communication with specialization for Advertising and Journalism respectively.
Since they ventured into the world of music they have released four singles and two videos.
The twins possess great skills in playing musical instruments and have severally performed in live band shows which made them to stand out and thereby deepened their stage craft.
To date, they have released eight audio singles with three videos, while three singles are ready, but yet to be released.
Details of their works are ASSASSIN (video and audio) and I DON CRAISE (audio only) both released in October, 2014.
Others include SHOUT OUT (video and audio) released in March, 2015, SHAKE BUM BUM (audio only) released in May, 2015, GBESOKE (first released in 2016, audio and video of remix featuring 9ice released in July 2016), THE CROWN (audio released in May 2015), ISE OLUWA and EREKE (released in February, 2017)
