Police nab cemetery attendant with human skulls

NIGERIA: THE Ogun State Police Command has apprehended a cemetery attendant, Oluwatosin Gabriel Akorede, for allegedly engaging in the trading of human parts.
The Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, told GatewayMail on Monday that the suspect was nabbed with two human skulls.
According to him, Oluwatosin was apprehended on Sunday at Isale-Oko area of Sagamu in Sagamu local government area of the state after a tip off.
Oyeyemi explained: “Men of Ogun State police command has arrested one Oluwatosin Gabriel Akorede with two human skulls.
“The suspect was arrested at Isale Oko area of Shagamu on the 2nd of October at about 7pm.”
He further explained that policemen, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Moses Aduroja, were on routine patrol of the area when the suspect was nabbed.
“The suspect, who is said to be working in a cemetery situated along Ayepe Road Shagamu is currently undergoing interrogation with the view of unraveling the motive behind his action,” the police image maker stated.
Oyeyemi further stated that the Police Commissioner, Ahmed Iliyasu, has directed that the suspect be transferred to the command headquarters Eleweran, Abeokuta for further investigation.
